In 2006 I was asked to compose and produce several songs for Puerto-Rican superstar Chayanne and to give him a slight "rock-edge". We did just that...and received a Latin Grammy nomination for Album Of The Year. We lost out to Shakira but that was her big year and she deserved it. Chayanne and I did play a few good rounds of golf during production and that kinda made up for it. :-)
