Not content with just songwriting and production, Joel is one of those select musicians who can carry a project from start to finish. His skills as an arranger, programmer, and engineer allow him to play many key roles during production. His private recording studio, equipped with state-of-the-art gear, provides a great vibe for a creative environment. But all of this, by no means, dictates a strictly one-man operation. Joel is also big on collaboration. There is no greater feeling than the coming together of a couple of musicians to create a cool vibe that results in a great song or recording. |

Jon's new album "Expressions" charts Billboard! by Gary Trust, Billboard.com
THE JAZZMAN: A staple of Adult Contemporary and Latin radio since his arrival in 1992, Jon Secada makes his first credited appearance on Billboard's jazz rankings. "Expressions" enters Top Jazz Albums at No. 39. The set features standards and covers of his own hits "Just Another Day" and "Angel." Not that Secada is a newcomer to jazz music. He earned a Master's degree in jazz vocal performance from the University of Miami, and, earlier this year, provided vocals on a version of "Just Another Day" released on jazz guitarist Bernie Williams' album "Moving Forward."
